Logging in to the TranSafe Virtual Terminal
There are three fields on the TranSafe Virtual Terminal login page:
This is the base identification number for your account.
When you received your login credentials, this number may have included spaces.
It can be entered with or without spaces when you log in to the Virtual Terminal.
If you were provided a username in the format "123456789:manager", this would be
the numeric part before the colon, so you would enter "123456789".
This is the name of the user you are logging in as. Your
account will generally have two users: a "manager" user with administrative and reporting permissions,
and a more basic "pos" (point-of-sale) user for running transactions. If you were provided a username
in the format "123456789:manager", this would be the word or characters after the colon, so you would enter "manager".
This is the password of the user you are logging in as. If you
cannot remember this password, please see the
"Resetting Your Password" section below.
Resetting Your Password
If you have forgotten the password for a user other than your "manager" user, you can reset it as long as you
are able to log in to the Virtual Terminal as your "manager" user. Follow these steps to do so:
- Log in to the Virtual Terminal as your "manager" user.
On the top navigation bar, locate the "Users" heading.
Hover your mouse over it. From the menu that appears, select "Show Users".
You will see a table displaying your account's users.
Locate the user you are looking for in the table.
In the last column of the table (under the "Actions" heading),
click the menu icon and select "Edit" from the options that appear.
Locate the "Password" section on the user editing form
and check the box next to "Change this user's password".
Two text fields will appear. Enter the desired new password in both of them
(the second field is for confirmation) and click the "Submit" button to save the new password.
After completing these steps, you will be able to log in with the
new password that you entered.
Resetting Your "Manager" User Password
If you have forgotten the password for your "manager" user, you will need to contact your partner/reseller.
They will be able to reset the password for you.
